Environmental Security
AVA Velsen secures new ways of recycling. We consider avoiding, reusing, and recycling to be the most sensible approaches for us to deal with the thousands of tons of waste per year. The energetic processing of the waste, i.e. incineration, has top priority. It is undisputed that modern waste incineration, like ours, is justified in the current waste management, as we make a valuable contribution to environmentally friendly waste disposal by destroying and removing pollutants.
Site Safety
At AVA Velsen, we err on the side of caution. We are ideally positioned in the energy market, both for the present and the future. For us, site safety includes the protection of buildings and spaces. With adequate site safety, we protect our employees as well as our production goods that are located within our plants. Our site safety concept also includes access control combined with a security training system for the plant area.
Climate Security.
Protecting our environment concerns us all. Climate security has been at the core of what we do here at AVA Velsen for a very long time. Low-emission systems guarantee recycling of the future. New production processes ensure a good climate balance. Our motto is: think regionally, act locally. In co-operation with our strong partner EVS, our role in the coming months and years will also be to guide industry and citizens to better avoid waste in order to achieve a cleaner climate balance - here in our region, in the Saarland, and on a national average.
